Messages and Photos from Piedad Subirats, National President of the Cuba Association

November 2011 We have had the visit of one of our classmates in the Sacred Heart who lives in Manzanillo, Gramma Province, here in Cuba. Her name is Carola Yaque, she works very much for the Church in her city, that was the purpose of her trip to our capital, to a religious meeting. She was staying at the Casa Sacerdotal San Juan Vianney,  that is a kind of hotel or Inn that belongs to the Church, something like Joigny. I had never been there though its near my house. I went to met her and was amazed for the beauty of the place and its gardens, so I´m sending you some pictures. After I picked  her up, we went for lunch with the rest of us, "survivors",  of the same class and year in SH  to a good restaurant near by.  After lunch, Carola and I went to visit our Sisters (rscj) who live a block away from the restaurant and stayed the rest of the evening with them .

The four of us studied together and were still pupils when our Sacred Heart School was closed in 1961. None of us could graduate there.
