Fundraising in England
The parish of St. Gertrude in Surrey, England, has raised over £500 for the projects in Uganda/Kenya. This was a Sunday fundraising venture at all their Masses on the 21st June at which bidding prayers were also said for the work of the sisters and AMASC in Uganda/Kenya.”

A classroom from the slums of Kibera, Kenya. Local parents built the room out of galvanized panels normally used for roofs. The floor is a dirt floor. The posters on the "walls" are created out of sections from white sheets.
