" AMASC Youth Forum for the 2006 Congress in New Orleans "

Dear Alumnae/i, Friends and Family of Sacred Heart,

The Alumnae/I of Sacred Heart are invited to a World Congress every four years. In 2002, the 12th World Congress was held in Australia. In 2006 the 13th World Congress will held in New Orleans, Louisiana in the U.S.A.

At every Congress, there is a theme which is shared by tens of thousands of Sacred Heart Alumnae/I in more that forty (40) countries. The theme was "Reconciliation" in 2002. The theme will be "Collaboration for a Transformed World" in 2006.

In preparation for our World Congress, we are inviting our alumnae/i, around the world to join us in a reflection with the goal of deepening our awareness of our own gifts and talents that we have been given through our Sacred Heart education and tradition. In doing this, we can determine the best course of action in our own community to continue the efforts of our founders by building Christian values of social awareness which impels us to action.
